After
countless of considerations we decided that our summer holiday should be a
European adventure by train: Interrail it is!
 |
Denmark -off we go, Hamburg tri and hippies, and night train to Zürich. |
We wanted some time in Denmark this summer, so 14 days were all we had for the triå. We ended up using our
no-limit ticket 35 times and in total we used 55 different transport vehicles!
It sounds like a lot, but it was not to much. And we "only" visited Germany, Switzerland, France and Italy.
Our budget
were 10.000 DKK (approx. 1.350 euros) and we hid it spot on ! Even though the currency were not
in our favor due to Brexit. Mainly due to that one Swiss Frank equaled around 5
DKK one month before departure and was around 7 DKK when we arrived. But we so
not regret at all that we went to Switzerland...
When I moved to Aarhus back in 2008 I lived at a dorm for 1½ year where I met a
lovely girl from Zürich called Miriam. WE haven met for several years, but I am so glad I contacted her for a few tips. She opened her home for us and she was our personal guide and the best company you can wish for.
